NOVA Coffe, an ITC MARKUP FilmThe European Union (EU) and East African Community (EAC)MARKUP Il funded by the EU, aims to enhance economic development in the EAC through sustainable intra-African and EU-Africa trade. Focused on improving livelihoods, employment, and export competitiveness for MSMEs, the program supports the development of key export-oriented value chains as well institutional support in the six MARKUP Il EAC recipient partner countries.MARKUP Il will promote exports and investment through addressing trade barriers, value addition, quality compliance, trade facilitation and technology transfer. It is implemented by the International Trade Centre in collaboration with the EAC Secretariat and national partners in the recipient countries.
Integrating job creation and social protection in Rwanda, ILOThe International Labour Organisation (ILO) is leading a project to elevate private sector participation in endorsing enhanced social protection. Central to this mission is the co-creation of prototypes in Rwanda, geared towards offering broader social protection coverage for workers in compliance with both national and international standards.The project was facilitated by the ILO's International Training Centre (ITCILO), under the "Invest for Jobs" initiative by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
